SENI MONT’ KIARA WINS PRESTIGIOUS ASIA PACIFIC PROPERTY AWARDS 2012

Kuala Lumpur, 21 March 2012: Mont’ Kiara’s prestigious residential resort, SENI Mont’ Kiara has recently won the much-coveted Asia Pacific Property Awards 2012 in the Residential High Rise Development category. The award criteria focuses on the development’s location, concept and finishing, security, sustainability, innovations as well as marketing aspects.

Developed by Amatir Resources Sdn Bhd (a member of London-listed Aseana Properties Ltd) and project managed by Ireka Development Management Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Main-Board listed Ireka Corporation Berhad), SENI Mont’ Kiara is a luxury residential development that provides an urban resort-styled living environment with the finest facilities on par with those of a superior five-star resort hotel.

President / CEO of Ireka Development Management Sdn Bhd Lai Voon Hon said, “We are indeed honoured that SENI Mont’ Kiara has received this prestigious recognition from the Asia Pacific Property Awards. When we conceptualised SENI Mont’ Kiara, we approached it as one might in producing an art masterpiece, with room for appreciation in value. As the name suggests, the development is a masterpiece borne from the best architectural, landscaping and designer lifestyle concepts.”

Successful entrants have been invited to attend a high profile gala presentation dinner at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 27 April where the official announcements will be made. The event is part of the International Property Awards, the world’s most prestigious competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe. Top scoring winners from the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2012 will then compete against other winning companies from Europe, the UK, Africa, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate World’s Best in each category.

The inaugural International Property Awards were presented in 1995. To date, the International Property Awards has established themselves as the premier programme recognising excellence in the real estate field. Entries were judged by a panel of professionals whose collective knowledge of the property industry is second to none and unsurpassed by any other property awards. Chaired by Stuart Shield, this year’s judging panel consists of approximately 70 professionals including Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australian Institute of Architects; Patrick Grove, co-founder of IPGA Ltd; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property professionals; David Dalby of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and Mike McNamara of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, says, “We received a record number of entries for the Asia Pacific region this year and the standard was extremely high. Any company to win one of these awards has shown exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in their respective field.”

The art of creation and rejuvenation
SENI Mont’ Kiara spans over 8.8 acres with more than half of the land area allocated for the outdoors.

The development’s distinctive feature is its stunning resort-styled island haven measuring 2.3 acres of Modern Tropical landscape by award-winning landscape architect, Karl Princic. The beautifully crafted haven embraces sculpture gardens, water features, two Olympic-length pools, Jacuzzis and a full range of recreational facilities that parallel those provided by five-star resort hotels worldwide.

The Recreational Plaza encompasses a 3,800 sq ft cutting-edge fitness centre with aerobics, cardio/free-weight and training area, spa, a rooftop tai-chi station, steam and sauna rooms.

There are over 50 species of tropical vegetation including six of the over 100-year old frangipani trees sited on the pool deck within SENI Mont’ Kiara. The frangipani trees are the ‘stars’ of the recreational haven and they fit well with the artistic living of the prestigious residential resort in that trees are living sculptures that grow with time, allowing residents and future generations to appreciate them like a priceless living antique.

There are four residential towers – two high-rise 40-storey blocks and two 12-storey low-rise blocks – comprising a total of 605 luxurious units. In keeping with the development’s theme of art, all four residential towers in SENI Mont’ Kiara is named after renowned artists – Van Gogh, Picasso, Dali and Monet.

The art of luxury
More than half of its 605 luxury residences open out to views of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline which, for some units, include views of the Petronas Twin Towers and new National Palace whilst the remaining units overlook the resort-style landscaping. Understated elegance and remarkable artistic precision are evident in the features and finishes within the luxury residences.

Impeccably crafted kitchens have built-in cabinets, stone countertops, a centre island / breakfast bar, and appliances suitable for any epicure. The living room, family area, enclosed lanai and terrace are designed to give an opulent appearance and the feeling of space when you need it.

Comparable in size to many custom luxury residences, replete with private lift lobbies and three car parking bays, SENI Mont’ Kiara residences range from 2,347 sq ft to 3,714 sq ft of air-conditioned living spaces.

Master bedrooms are complemented by expansive his and her walk-in wardrobes. Appointed with marble and stone, the baths are serene, spa-like sanctuaries for relaxation.

Residents’ needs are also met by a 24-hour security service and on-site property management.

A short stroll puts you close to an array of dining, entertainment, convenient shopping and recreational experiences catering for the growing international Mont’ Kiara community, which continues to make this neighbourhood an exciting destination for living.

“Our owners and expatriate tenants have a passion for the very best that life offers. They have the means to live anywhere in the world, and many of them do. The fact that they consider Mont’ Kiara to be an absolute paradise and have chosen SENI Mont’ Kiara for their primary or vacation residence speaks volumes about the location, the development and the prized lifestyle associated with it,” Lai said.

SENI Gallery, a first in a Malaysian residential development
Flowing with the art appreciation concept, various art exhibitions were organised and held at SENI Gallery, a permanent art gallery within the condo development. The exhibitions were unique to the development not only among residents but art lovers and the upper strata of society as well.

Certainly, SENI Mont’ Kiara (“seni” means art in the Malay language), a collaboration between CapitaLand Financial and Aseana Properties Limited, exclusively managed by Ireka Development Management Sdn Bhd, qualifies as the art of fine living.
