Miss Wai Shan (Jessica) Yuen has over 20 years of professional experience spanning hospitality operations, real estate development and global capital markets, with a strong track record in financial structuring, capital raising and strategic investment execution across multiple jurisdictions.

She is currently an Executive Director of RY Group, where she serves concurrently as Executive Director of RY Group China, RY Asset Management Japan and RY Capital UK. In this capacity, she is responsible for:

– Formulating and executing group-wide financial and investment strategies;

– Securing and structuring equity and debt financing for hospitality and real estate investments across Asia and internationally;

– Structuring investment vehicles and overseeing the deployment of significant capital across diversified asset portfolios; and

– Leading strategic partnerships, investor relations and cross-border collaborations to enhance long-term portfolio value.

Encik Chairil bin Mohd Tamil currently holds the position of Deputy Group Managing Director, Ireka Corporation Berhad (Ireka) with more than 25 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and International Business. He had previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer for the Group.

Prior to Encik Chairil joining Ireka, he served as the Deputy President Business, EXIM Bank. He was responsible for overseeing its Banking Department, Credit Insurance Department and Product Development Department. During his tenure with EXIM, he received three (3) awards from the Project Finance International Magazine, The Banker and Euromoney for Asia Pacific Deal of the Year 2013 for an IPP Project in Indonesia.

Encik Chairil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in the Joint School of Economics and Accounting from University of Bristol, United Kingdom.

Dr. Thomas Ong is a seasoned C-suite leader with over 25 years of diverse experience across healthcare, agribusiness, infrastructure, education, and strategic advisory. He combines pioneering entrepreneurial vision with deep expertise in managing large, complex portfolios within major Malaysian conglomerates.

Dr. Thomas Ong began his career as one of Malaysia’s first Doctors of Chiropractic. As Founder and CEO of TAGS Group, he built Malaysia’s largest Allied Healthcare network. He also served as founding President of the Chiropractic Association of Malaysia, playing an instrumental role in achieving national recognition for the profession and establishing the first chiropractic degree program at the International Medical University.

From 2013 to 2022, Dr. Thomas Ong worked directly under Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary, holding multiple CEO and senior advisory roles across the Albukhary Group. He led transformative turnarounds and growth initiatives as CEO of listed and private entities including Tradewinds Bhd, MARDEC Berhad, Albukhary International University, and Yayasan Albukhary. His portfolio spanned agribusiness, plantations, construction, land development, infrastructure, and education, delivering record profitability and sustainable modernization.

Dr. Thomas Ong brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, portfolio management, M&A, operations and large-scale project execution. He is adept at designing and implementing Private-Public Partnership frameworks and driving organizational transformation. His unique blend of hands-on leadership, cross-sectoral insight, and proven ability to deliver results makes him a valuable strategic asset for any PLC seeking experienced board or C-suite leadership.

Encik Wan Ahmad Nazim currently holds the position of Head of Property Development and Construction and is the Chief Executive Officer, Ireka Properties Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Ireka Development Management Sdn Bhd).

He joined Ireka as Group Chief Strategy Officer on 5 July 2021 and was responsible for putting in place various strategic business development initiatives and the positioning of Ireka in the industry. All networking and relationship-building efforts with Government agencies and Regulators is under his purview.

He has over 30 years of experience in the Malaysian capital markets and is a highly respected deal maker in the ASEAN region. Encik Wan Ahmad’s vast experience in the capital market, specifically in activities relating to investments, placements and fund-raising, has been an advantage to Ireka.

Anas Nasrun bin Mohd Osman currently holds the position of Group Chief Financial Officer for ICB.

He began his career in 1997 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he worked for over six years before transitioning into roles across diverse industries such as oil and gas, food, logistics, property, lubricants, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, and construction.

With over 28 years of experience mergers and acquisitions, strategy, business development, sales & marketing, cost reduction initiatives and business turnaround, he has played a key role in driving profitability, enhancing shareholder value, expanding markets regionally, and implementing cost-saving initiatives through restructuring, Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) – cost savings, automation, and strategic collaborations. He has initiated market penetration and market expansion regionally by creating brand awareness for products and services in Malaysia, the ASEAN region, and China via collaboration with new and existing dealers, distributors, and business partners.
