Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To plan, manage and coordinate all architectural construction works for the project.
  • To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality system.To prepare works programme, monthly progress report and oversee compilation of the daily report.
  • To monitor and control all works are carried out as per Contract Specification and within the Time Frame set.
  • To assist the Manager, Project in implementating the project as planned.
  • To minimize the wastage of construction materials and rework and to control construction cost.
  • To provide technical support to the project.
  • To monitor work progress on a daily basis to achieve completion of project on time.
  • To identity and determine the construction sequence and coordinate with other trades as necessary.
  • To review the construction drawings, check as to the buildability and highlight any discrepancies to the Client’s Representative/ Consultants and resolve architectural problems or design issues.
  • To monitor and access performance of sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • To liaise with the Client’s Representative and Consultants on civil and structural design issues as necessary.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.


  •  Diploma / Degree in Architecture/ Interior Design/ Building Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in architectural finishes / interior design works, in the construction of high rise buildings /offices/hotels/residential properties, out of which at least 3 years are in a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 standards, and the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the quality management system is an added advantage.
